Placement for all Reports is determined at the Event level. You can decide to either rank participants in order of their Clock times (Gun Start time to Chip Finish Time) or their Chip times (Chip Start Time to Chip Finish Time).

This is configured under the Scored Events screen.

Note: If you are are using Chip Times to determine places, there is also an option to rank Top Finishers by their Gun Time as described in our guide on Configuring Top Finishers.
