Every year we do a live certification class that new users can attend in order to become officially certified in RaceDay Scoring.
This process will train you on setting up a basic Race and gives you a general overview of the features of RaceDay Scoring.
If you would like to you can access the materials at any time to self-certify.
This email (email@example.com) is your point of contact for support regarding RaceDay Scoring. This inbox is monitored by a few support members 7 days a week, so don't hesitate to have your timers send in questions you may have getting started here during the week or on the weekend once you're actually live timing events. We also have a support line available for urgent issues: (267) 603-1469
Below you can find some info on the in-depth Certification Class that goes through a very basic 5k training. There is a handout with the steps needed to set up the Race as instructed in the video, with helpful links to related support documentation. That document also has links to download the needed class materials like sample chip and participant data.
Attached is the handout from the class, and you can view the recording of the session at the link below:
Feel free to take the quiz after you go through the slides.
If you have any questions as you're completing the training scenario, feel free to use the question mark icon in the top right corner of the app to submit your race file for review and we'll be able to help you out.
There's also a library of help guides that we've put together here: https://help.rdscoring.com/support/home
For more in-depth training once you've completed the certification, you can schedule a one-on-one with Crisp McDonald, our training expert. It's helpful to have a specific race scenario picked out, or topics to discuss prepared beforehand.
